Vowel Sounds of Y

I am done Christmas shopping and was snowed in today at my house.  I decided to start working on some ideas for January when we get back to school.  Our next story in Scott Foresman is An Egg is an Egg.  We are going to practice the sounds of Y, so I made some games.  I will upload them over the next few days.  Does anyone else do anything with the vowels sounds of Y?  Here is a copy of my game for download.  Let me know your thoughts.

  1. We did this story last week and some of my kids just didn't grasp this sound. This will be a great review center for them...thanks so much! :)

    1. Mother and father are an important partner within the education of the children. While constitutional law doesn't necessarily describe parental privileges regarding training, Texas statutory regulation does. publicbusinesslaw.org

  4. I just use MS Word to make everything.

I love clipart! My favorite sites are:
    www.scrappindoodles.com
    www.digiwebstudio.com
    www.mygrafico.com

I draw some of my clipart too. I enjoy doing the graphics part, but I haven't done it in awhile. Let me know if I can help you with anything.

  5. Love it,thanks! You asked what else I do...I teach them this saying "Sneaky y the robber guy, steals the sounds of e and i." It really seems to help my students. I'll upload the poster I have on my blog for you. I didn't make it and I wish I could remember who did so I could give them credit.
